Terms of Use & Venue Policies
Effective July 14, 2026
These terms apply to this website and visits to The Attic Comedy Club. The venue is owned and operated by 892 Oak LLC, doing business as The Attic Comedy Club ("The Attic," "we," "us," or "our"). By using this website or attending an event, you agree to these terms and any event-specific rules disclosed before purchase or entry.
Tickets and third-party services
Online tickets are sold through Eventbrite. Your use of Eventbrite is also subject to Eventbrite's own terms and privacy notice. Confirm the event, date, time, ticket count, and attendee details before completing a purchase. A ticket may not be resold or used for an unauthorized commercial promotion.
Sales, cancellations, and rescheduled shows
- All ticket sales are final except as stated below or required by law.
- If a show is canceled or not delivered, we will make it right through a refund, replacement, credit, or another appropriate remedy communicated to ticket holders.
- If a show is rescheduled, tickets will be honored for the new date or refunded upon request within the instructions and deadline communicated to ticket holders.
- When Eventbrite processes an approved refund, Eventbrite also refunds its ticketing fees according to its applicable policies and processing procedures.
Refunds ordinarily return to the original payment method and may take time to appear. We are not responsible for separate travel, lodging, parking, or other incidental costs.
Lineups, schedules, arrival, and seating
Performers, lineups, support acts, showtimes, and program details may change. A lineup change alone does not mean an event is canceled. We encourage guests to arrive by the stated door time. Late entry is allowed when reasonably possible, but it may be delayed to avoid interrupting the show, and preferred or group seating cannot be guaranteed.
Seating is limited and generally first come, first served. Unless an event listing says otherwise, venue policies shown on the website, including any door surcharge or suggested drink minimum, apply to the event.
Age and identification
The Attic generally serves adults age 18 and older, and valid identification may be required. In limited, specifically approved situations, a minor may attend when accompanied and supervised by their legal guardian. Any exception is subject to the event listing, performer requirements, applicable law, and staff approval. A guardian remains responsible for the minor throughout the visit.
Guest conduct and removal
Guests must follow staff instructions and behave in a way that does not threaten, harass, disrupt, or unreasonably interfere with performers, staff, other guests, or the show. We may refuse entry or remove a disruptive or unsafe guest without a refund, to the extent permitted by law. Illegal items, weapons prohibited by law or venue policy, and unlawful conduct are not allowed.
Photography and recording
The Attic may photograph, film, or otherwise record shows, the venue, and audiences for promotional, documentary, social-media, and other lawful business uses. By entering the venue, you consent to appearing incidentally or directly in that material and permit us to use your image, likeness, and voice without additional compensation, to the extent permitted by law.
Guest photography or video of comedians is highly discouraged and may be prohibited by a performer, event listing, or staff instruction. Flash, professional equipment, live streaming, and recording that distracts performers or guests may be stopped. Always follow announcements and staff directions.
Private-event inquiries
A website inquiry is a request for information and does not reserve the venue or create a booking. Availability, pricing, deposits, payment dates, cancellation, refunds, services, and other event-specific terms will be provided when a booking is confirmed. If confirmed booking terms conflict with this page, the confirmed booking terms control for that private event.
Website use and intellectual property
You may use this website for personal, lawful purposes. Do not attempt to disrupt, disable, scrape in a way that burdens the service, gain unauthorized access, introduce malicious code, impersonate another person, or use site content for misleading or unlawful activity. Site text, branding, graphics, photographs, and other content are owned by or licensed to us and may not be commercially reused without permission.
Third-party links
The website may link to Eventbrite, social networks, maps, restaurants, performers, and other third parties. We do not control their services, availability, content, privacy practices, or terms. A link does not guarantee or endorse every statement or service on the linked site.
Disclaimers and limits
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the website is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not promise uninterrupted operation or that every site detail will always be error-free. To the fullest extent permitted by law, 892 Oak LLC and its owners, staff, contractors, and agents will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from website use or an event.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. You remain responsible for following applicable laws, venue instructions, and event-specific requirements.
Changes, severability, and contact
We may update these terms when our services or policies change. The effective date above identifies the current version. If any provision is found unenforceable, it will be limited or removed only to the extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue in effect.
