Privacy Notice
Effective July 13, 2026
This notice explains what information The Attic Comedy Club collects through this website, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep this short and plain on purpose. If anything here is unclear, email us and we'll explain it in real words.
What we collect
We only collect what you hand us or what your browser sends automatically:
- Newsletter signups. Your email address, the date you signed up, and which form you used. That's it.
- Private event inquiries. When you fill out the private party or booking form, we collect the name, email, phone number, and event details you enter so we can reply and plan your event.
- Automatic analytics. Like most sites, we use Google Analytics and the Meta (Facebook) Pixel, which collect standard technical data such as pages viewed, general location, device type, and a cookie or advertising identifier.
We do not ask for or store payment information on this site. Tickets are handled by Eventbrite under their own privacy policy.
How we use it
- To send you show announcements you asked for.
- To respond to private event and booking inquiries.
- To understand which pages and shows people are interested in, so we run a better club.
- To reach past visitors with occasional ads for upcoming shows.
We do not sell your personal information.
Who we share it with
We share data only with the services that make the site run, and only as needed for them to do their job:
- Cloudflare hosts the site and its database.
- Eventbrite handles ticket sales.
- Resend delivers our email.
- Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel handle analytics and advertising.
How long we keep it
- Newsletter emails: until you unsubscribe. When you unsubscribe we keep a suppression record so we don't accidentally email you again.
- Private event inquiries: up to 24 months after your event or your last contact with us, then we delete them. We'll delete sooner on request.
Your choices
- Unsubscribe. Every marketing email has a one-click unsubscribe link. You can also email us and we'll take you off the list.
- See or delete your data. Email us and we'll tell you what we have and delete it if you ask.
- Opt out of ad tracking. You can manage ad personalization in your Meta ad settings and use your browser's cookie controls or a "Do Not Track" setting to limit analytics.
